Holy shnoodles, she is alive!

My many excuses for being gone for so long include but are not limited to: Buying a house (OMG soooo stressful), entertaining people at said house, my family's health problems who are now all able to stand again , and a very sad addiction to the video game Viva Piñata (come back, Chewnicorn! oh, fudgehog on fire...again.)

Sooooo about the picture. I feel I rushed a bit. Still stood on my computer for three weeks. Took about six hours, most of that spent staring off into space. Time of day? oh! in the reff pic it is day but the trees are so high and they block out most of the sun but enough comes down to light up the water really cool. I believe its a part of the Angelus falls, the biggest ones in the world, but I really cant remember. I messed with the water alot. I want it to look more transparent in spots but I couldnt get it to do that without looking choppy. In other words, if someone knows some good techniques, let me know :3 tutorials would be nice. I kinda just painted what I saw.

Tried to darken Fanta some. I may darken her some more to fit the scene, and her Juma petpet. I thought I got it enough... 'course my screen is much brighter than most peoples so I'll look at it at work before I decide. I used black to darken. I heard you can use complimentary colors or a dark blue to darken, but I tried both and they looked wierd.
